The BBK-owned Vivo recently released a new Skin named OriginOS, which will be the replacement for the Vivo’s Funtouch OS. The new OS comes with cool, dynamic looks, and the home screen is styled in a new desktop grid format. Later on, after the launch, Vivo has released the list of eligible devices getting the OriginOS update alongside the update expected release month.


Vivo’s OriginOS Roadmap

As per the release note, the Vivo NEX 3, X50 Pro, S7, X50 Pro+, X50, iQOO, iQOO Pro, iQOO 3, iQ00 5, iQ00 5 Pro, and iQ00 Neo 3 smartphones will be getting the OriginOS anytime before January 2021. These devices are considered under the first batch, and the update is expected to hit them in the coming months.

Talking about the second batch, the OriginOS is going to hit the devices before the Spring Festival, i.e., Mid-February 2021. The second batch devices include Vivo NEX 3, NEX 3 5G, X30, X30 Pro, iQOO Neo, and iQOO Neo 855.

Coming to the third batch, the Vivo X27 Pro, X27, X27 8GB + 128GB, S5, S1, Z5X, Z5, S6, S1 Pro, Z6, Z5i, NEX, NEX Dual Display, NEX In-Display fingerprint, NEX S, iQOO Z1X, and iQOO Z1 devices are going to get the OriginOS by Q2 of 2021.
