The BBK-Owned Oppo has started updating all its devices to the latest version. Recently, it rolled the July 2020 Security Patch update for Oppo R17, and many more devices. Now, finally, the company has started rolling out a similar update for Oppo K3 users.

Oppo K3 starts getting July 2020 Security Patch update

The update is spinning out on Android 10 based ColorOS 7 UI and hitting all the devices as CPH1955EX_11_C.08 Firmware version. As of now, the update is limited to Indian markets only. Nevertheless, it doesn’t take much time to release in all other countries as it already live in India. According to Changelog, the update adds the latest Security Patch [July 2020], bug fixes for the known issues, new add-ons for system & camera.

The new-addons of the update include wireless printing feature (images, pdf), and Camera quick launch function. The update brings fixes for screen recording icon blur via Quick Settings, battery page display issue in Dark mode, People album not displaying issue, and Back button not working issue. Apart from these, there were no other changes included.

As the company is spinning out in batches, it generally takes a few days to hit your device. So, don’t get panic if your device didn’t get any update. Meanwhile, follow the below steps to check the update status manually.
