Realme V5 5G was just landed in China on August 7. Within a couple of days, after it’s launch, the company has started rolling out a new update. It looks like, Realme is concentrating more on the performance of the smartphone. Recently, Realme has pushed a bunch of new updates for its smartphones with big fixes, Security Patches, and more.

Realme V5 5G grabs a new update with A.07 Firmware version

Moving into the update, it comes as the RMX2111_11_A.07 and as now, it is limited to the Chinese users only. The new update features a new add-on and a bunch of optimizations to increase the performance and stability of the smartphone. Besides these, the company has not included any new features in the update.

What’s new/Changed?

The update brings optimizations for super night scene effect (front camera), rear camera recording effect, return button & home button vibration experience (swipe gesture), and external sound experience during the game.

Realme is rolling out the update in batches, as a result, it might take some time to reach all the units. Meanwhile, follow the below steps to check the update status manually.

How to update?

Before going ahead with the update, make sure to switch to a WiFi network to avoid carrier data charges. Also, maintain at least 60% of charging.

The smartphone measures 162.1 x 75 x 9.1 mm with 6.5-inch IPS LCD display (1080 x 2400 pixels) . The features of the display include a 20:9 ratio, 405 PPI density, 90Hz refresh rate, and a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device powers the MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G Chipset coupled with Octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 MC3 GPU. It is available in two variants – 6GB RAM with 12GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.

In-camera, the device fuels up with a quad-camera setup that combines of 48-MP + 8-MP + 2-MP + 2-Mp sensors. On the front, it hosts a 16-Mp selfie camera with f/2.1 aperture. The device runs Realme UI 1.0 (Skin) based on Android 10 out of the box. It packs a huge 5,000 mAh battery backup with 30W Fast charging support.
