Today, Redmi has officially launched the new Redmi 9 Prime at an online launch event. The Redmi 9 Prime is going to be the best competitor for all the low-range price smartphones. The device comes with the quad-camera setup, the Mediatek Chipset, and a 5,020 mAh battery.
Moving ahead to the specifications, it fuels with a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with around 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 394 PPI Pixel density, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device powers the latest Mediatek Helio G80 Chipset coupled with the Octa-core processor and Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage capacity.
Coming to the main part, the device sports a quad rear camera setup that combines of 13 MP primary camera (f/2.2), 8 MP ultra-wide lens (f/2.2) aperture, 5 MP Macro sensor (f/2.4) and a 2 MP depth sensor (f/2.4). On the front, it hosts an 8 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The features of the cameras include HDR, panorama, LED flash (rear), etc.
The device packs with a big 5020 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It runs MIUI 11 based Android 10 out of the box. Some of the connectivity options of the smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C.
