Redmi has reportedly started rolling out the Security Patch for the month of July 2020 for Redmi Note 9 smartphone along with MIUI 12 update. The update is hitting all the devices on V12.0.3.0.QJOMIXM firmware version and it’s spinning out globally. Without wasting any more time, let’s get into the main part of the update.

Redmi Note 9 starts getting July 2020 Security Patch update

The latest update adds the MIUI 12 goodness, features, and the July 2020 Security Patch. As the company is seeding out the July Patch with MIUI 12, there’s no separate changelog for it. Nevertheless, the Security update usually comes with bug fixes for known issues, several optimizations, and improvements to the device. The performance and the stability of Note 9 is expected to be increased by this update.
