The network carrier Verizon is subsequently updating its devices to the latest available security patches. Recently it pushed a new update Google Pixel devices, Galaxy A71, and many more devices. Now, Verizon-based Samsung Galaxy A01 has started receiving July 2020 Security Patch update. The update is hitting all the devices as the QP1A.190711.020.A015VVRU2ATG3 Firmware version.
As per the company’s release note, the update features only the latest Security Patch. Apart from that, the company has not added any new Changes or features. So, the update generally sports the fixes for known issues, and optimizations to enhance smartphone stability.
As the update is spinning out in a stagged manner, it may take a couple of days to hit your smartphone. Meanwhile, follow the below steps to check update status manually.
