A couple of days back, Xiaomi rolled out a similar Security Patch update for Mi 9T Pro, Mi Mix 3, Redmi Note 7, Mi A3, and many more devices. Now, the company has started seeding the August 2020 Security Patch update for Mi A2 Lite. The update is hitting all the devices as the V11.0.10.0.QDLMIXM Firmware version.

Apart from the August 2020 Security Patch, the update doesn’t feature any new changes or the features. So, usually it might include the bug fixes for reported issues, improvements, optimizations and fixes for loopholes. Hence, the update is only meant to increase the Security Patch level and increase the performance of the smartphone.

  • Make sure to maintain at least 60% of charging before updating.
  • Switch over to a WiFi network to avoid carrier data charges.
